Tuesday 02. August 2005 Second International Bloomery Furnace Symposium

Friends of medieval bloomeries should mark their calendars. From 19 thru 21 Aug 2005 we will be organizing a three-day International Bloomery Furnace symposium. Where? In Polle, on the banks of the river Weser, between Holzminden and Bodenwerder.

From 19 thu 21 Aug we will be conducting a Bloomery Furnace Symposium to which I would like to invite all experts. Three groups have already confirmed building a furnace. Lectures, addressing latest scientific findings are in preparation.

Monday 25. April 2005 International Blacksmithmeeting in Schönwald

Great opening of the exhibition.

From May 13. -16. 2005 the IFGS will open the exhibition "Kraft-Werke" in Schönwald Black-Forest.

Over 45 Exibitors and 80 pieces works of art.

Sunday 24. April 2005 Delegation from Kaliningrad

A delegation from Kaliningrad will be arriving at Polle on 24 Apr 05 to view the progress.
